Education and Professional Activities
Dr. Maa earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with high honors at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and received the Rice Humanitarian Award upon graduation. Prior to dental school, she completed a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Illinois at Champaign.
Dr. Maa is dedicated to delivering compassionate care and focusing on the well-being of her patients. She is determined to provide high-quality, individualized dentistry in order to ensure the most optimal results.
Dr. Maa keeps current with the newest developments, guidelines, and procedures in dentistry through a range of continuing education courses. Many of her postgraduate studies have concentrated on technology, cosmetic, and restorative procedures.
She is a distinguished member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Maa is an active member of the Spear Study Club: learning from and with her peers and other oral healthcare specialists.
Dr. Maa has practiced dentistry in Glencoe since 2006. She previously served in Haiti for a short-term dental mission trip and volunteered on the dental mobile van with Northwest Community Hospital. She has been listed in Top Dentists since 2012.
Beyond the Office
Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Maa and her family immigrated to the United States when she was ten. She currently lives in Northbrook with her husband and two children.
The family regularly serves at their church and volunteers at Misericordia Home for people with disabilities. They enjoy dining out, watching movies and playing board games with friends and family.
